:
The Property Taxpayers of Cape May City are a unique mix of
permanent residents living in the homes they own, the owners
of the many commercial properties in Cape May, and the
owners of a “second home” who pay taxes but do not reside in
Cape May.
While all property owners share a commitment to the economic
vitality of our City, their opportunity to be heard depends
on where they live. In fact, 85% of the Cape May
residential property owners do not and cannot vote because
they do not reside Cape May. As a core part of our
mission, TPA is a voice for all Property Taxpayers and,
often, the only voice for many of our Property Taxpayers.
