President's Remarks
Welcome to TPA Meeting
There is no quorum for the December Meeting
TPA Guidelines for Public Session see below
Please follow these guidelines for questions and statements:
1. State your name
2. Limit your speaking time to 5 minutes only.
3. Stay on topic
If we are all share in the above guidelines, everybody who wishes
to speak will have an opportunity to obtain the floor and stay
within the meeting time. If you are asked to end your speaking time,
please do not feel you have been treated unfairly. Simply, write
down your questions and send them to the TPA President. We will make
every effort to address your input.
City Manager
Lou Corea:
Last Tuesday council meeting, Convention Hall reappointed
Architect and Engineer; will be workshop on presentation of final
design; demolition by 12/9/2008;construction 14-18 months;
operational in 2010
2008 Budget nearing completion 1/14/08; next step analysis and
review with City Auditor; ready to TPA review around 01/21/08

Leon Costello, City Auditor:
Excellent 2 hour powerpoint presentation on current, working City
of Cape May data for municipal spending, bonds; the 4% cap rules;
state mandated spending for pensions and health care;
Public Session I

Planning Board How does it work with planning and zoning and
the Master Plan and elements of Rhodeside and Harwell?
The Master Plan is scheduled for update this year. A consultant
will be hired.
We need to know more on the process and procedures of the
Planning Board and when and how the output of planning meetings is
used as input to the Zoning Board. Dennis to follow up.
